Morphosis.

Anxious adolescence, time of changing
light, lingeringly pleading
this favor, an invitation to stay,
to exist among teasing shadows, forms
old and new, silhouettes of a promise
flickering to dusk,
extinguished.

Seasons blur at gray sky's returning
memories, uncomfortable in predestined skin;
changing, evolving unknown reflections
in waters of glass, rushing
with an embarrassed blush,
trading new colors for familiar
lambencies.
